Registration Process

  • Music education graduate students must be advised. Click here for instructions.

  • If you have registered for Hartt Summerterm workshops and classes in the past and you remember your username and password, follow this link to the log in screen to begin the registration process. Be sure to choose the option, "Returning or Continuing Student" during registration.

  • If you do not remember your username and password, follow this link to the password recovery screen. If you no longer have access to the email address used during registration, then you will not be able to recover your password and you must register under a new username and password.

  • If you are a new student, click here to visit the workshop catalog, or the core course catalog. Once you have selected the courses you are interested in, you will be prompted to create your Hartt Summerterm account. Be sure to choose the option, "Graduate, new to University of Hartford."

  • If you are a nonmatriculated student interested in workshops but not a graduate degree, be sure to choose the option, "Non-matriculated participant" during registration.

  • If you are interested in core undergraduate and graduate courses offered by the University of Hartford, please visit the University of Hartford's Summerterm website.

  • Please Note: There is a one-time, nonrefundable $30 registration fee, and a $25 technology fee that is assessed to ALL students.

Early registration is encouraged. There is a nonrefundable $30 registration fee per semester (summer) and a $25 technology fee for all participants. You may register online on the Hartt Summerterm Registration website. It is critical that registrants verify their current addresses and phone numbers that appear on the front page of the registration form. Because courses with insufficient enrollment may be canceled at least two weeks before the workshop is scheduled to begin, it is important that participants register by the designated deadline.

  • All workshops at the University of Hartford are available for graduate credit.
  • Workshops may be taken for a letter grade or with a Pass/No Pass grading status (must take for a letter grade to count toward a University of Hartford master's degree).
  • Participants wishing to transfer a workshop toward a degree at another institution should check with their institutions regarding the Pass/No Pass option.

Upon registration, all students and faculty must acquire a University ID at the HawkCard ID Office, located next to the Gengras Student Union (860.768.5343).
